Contact/About Us

Owner-Operator: Ed Muns, previously a technology manager in Silicon Valley, 
learned viticulture from other Northern California wine-growers and through 
extension courses at the UC Davis Department of Viticulture and Enology 
while installing his personally cared-for vineyard. Ed is hands-on in the vineyard,
manages the crew when they are needed, and does all the tractor work.
When outside the vineyard, Ed enjoys Ham radio contesting (W0YK) and is a 
world record-setting Ham contester. Both Ed and Mary have enjoyed sailing 
and racing Hobie Cats and monohulls but vineyard and winery demands have 
made it difficult in recent years to devote the time to sailing. 

Partner: Mary Lindsay handles marketing and sales for our Muns Vineyard 
wines, a second career for her as well. She managed the image and 
outbound messaging for young high tech companies in Silicon Valley for years 
as President of Lindsay Public Relations. She also does marketing for 
Silver Mountain Vineyards and managed their tasting room on Cannery Row 
in Monterey when it was located there.  She is President of the Viticulture Assn. 
of the Santa Cruz Mountains ( VASCM), supports other winery groups and helps 
in the vineyard especially at harvest.  Her additional interests include foraging 
for wild mushrooms, collecting rocks, and knitting
